At the end of May, the temperature outside began to rise. The entrance exams for various universities in Beijing had been taking place for half a month.

As the exam ended, the bell rang.

"Examinees, put down your pens." the teacher at the podium quietly tapped on the desk.

Jiang Shuyi stretched and looked out the window, feeling as though she was finally free.

For the past three months, she felt like she was being worn down by the exam papers, she had been studying every day.

Wen Yao only needed to prepare for one university, but Jiang Shuyi had to prepare for several, each with different exam styles and question types. On top of that, with Wen Yao supervising her, it felt like she was doing problems from dawn until dusk.

Now that the last exam was over, she truly felt the tension release from her shoulders.

Just thinking about it made her feel like her steps were much lighter.

Although it was already afternoon, the summer sun was still bright and clear.

As Jiang Shuyi walked out of the main gate and turned around, she saw Wen Yao standing at the entrance, leaning against a marble pillar.
