Gu Sijiu was jolted awake by a wave of nausea, coughing as she sat up. The pain from dehydration made her whimper. As her vision cleared, she saw a large expanse of white and thought something was covering her eyes. She reached out to wave it away and realized that the blinding white was actually the wall. Blinking in confusion, she soon realized she was lying in a hospital bed.

The hospital appeared quite luxurious, with a soft, large bed and lavish decor. She frowned slightly, the throbbing pain in her head was even more pronounced now. Touching her forehead, she felt the roughness of gauze. Dazed, she held her head, unsure of what had happened or why she was here.

She remembered ending a drinking session last night and then calling a chauffeur to drive her home. After that, her memory went blank, stopping at the moment she got into the car. What happened next? Did she get into an accident and end up in the hospital? Her recollection of last night was blur, with only scattered fragments coming to mind.

She let out a soft whimper, trying to prop herself up, when the door swung open. A nurse entered, and upon seeing her, suddenly activated a silver-gray device in her hand. Shortly after, a group of people walked in. Leading them was a very tall female doctor, who, despite having an East Asian face, stood at least 190 cm tall. Behind her were several nurses, and at the back of the group was a woman with a slightly cold expression.

Before Gu Sijiu could assess the situation, the female doctor pressed her back onto the bed. She informed Gu Sijiu that she had a mild concussion and shouldn't move around carelessly. After asking her a few questions and receiving satisfactory answers, the doctor left, leaving only the cold-looking woman in the room. Finally, Gu Sijiu had time to size up the woman.

The woman was tall, without her high heels, she was probably around 172 cm, two centimeters taller than Gu Sijiu. Her long, brown hair fell partially over her right shoulder while the rest cascaded down her back. Looking at her face, Gu Sijiu realized this person was a complete stranger. Based on her appearance and demeanor, if Gu Sijiu had met her before, she would definitely have remembered.

The woman had a slender and tall figure, clad in a white cinched-waist long dress with a delicate light purple belt accentuating her waist. Her legs were long, and her body proportions could be deemed perfect. White is a color that can easily make one look heavier or expose flaws, yet she carried it off effortlessly. From Gu Sijiu's estimation, the woman had at least a C cup, similar to her own size. Gu Sijiu pondered the woman's intentions and flashed what she thought was a charming yet polite smile. However, after her smile, the woman's expression grew colder, and she looked at Gu Sijiu with a hint of resentment.

It was clear that the look in her eyes was genuine, not a pretense, and certainly not stemming from any minor conflict. The way the woman looked at her made it seem as if Gu Sijiu was her sworn enemy, someone she wanted to eliminate immediately. Reflected in her dark eyes was Gu Sijiu's own image, those pitch-black, shiny eyes resembled obsidian, but Gu Sijiu had no desire to admire them. In any situation, if someone looked at you with eyes that seemed to want to end you while you lay in a hospital bed, it would naturally cause some unease.

"Miss, do you need something?" Gu Sijiu felt a bit displeased with the woman glaring at her, especially since they were strangers and the woman's gaze was unfriendly. Confused, she spoke up, only to see the woman take a step back. Gu Sijiu was even more puzzled, wondering if she had offended this woman while drunk. But she had never seen her before.

As Gu Sijiu contemplated this, she noticed something unusual. She glanced at her hair, realizing that it was no longer the misty blue she had dyed it. Instead, it was a color that was neither deep red nor very light, a mix of light red and deep cherry hues. Gu Sijiu couldn't believe that someone would dye her hair while she was undergoing surgery after an accident. At this moment, she finally sensed that something was amiss.

Staring at her hair in a daze, she then touched her chest, which felt much lighter. Upon touching it, she realized that the familiar fullness and ungraspable sensation were gone, replaced by small hills. Without needing to measure, she knew it was only an A cup.

Gu Sijiu stood there in shock, raising her head to look at the woman by the bed, who was now looking at her with even more disdain. It was then that Gu Sijiu noticed the woman also had bandages wrapped around her neck and wrists.

"Since you're not dead, I'll take my leave." the woman spoke, her voice and the impression she gave off somewhat different. From entering the hospital until now, she had kept a cold expression, her gaze towards herself filled with nothing but disgust and impatience. Several times, Gu Sijiu noticed the trembling of her hands, a tremor born out of suppressed rage. If murder were not a crime, Gu Sijiu felt she might have been killed directly by the other woman in the hospital bed.

But now, the woman spoke, her voice slightly hoarse, the resentful words failing to mask the inherent softness in her tone. As she turned to leave, her slender figure walked out of Gu Sijiu's hospital room alongside another woman. Gu Sijiu fell silent, pondering where she was, why she was there, whose body this was, and what connection she had with the woman she had just encountered.

With all these questions swirling in her mind, Gu Sijiu felt utterly lost. Not long after, someone claiming to be her adjutant arrived, finally providing her with satisfactory answers. This was not the world she knew, nor was it Earth, and certainly not a place she was familiar with. She had been transported to a planet called "Xing," where the only empire was Laniswei.

The empire's population was diverse and complex, and the classification of gender was unlike anything Gu Sijiu had ever heard of. Here, people were categorized not as men and women, but as Alphas, Omegas, and Betas. While she could understand the meanings of these English terms, Gu Sijiu couldn't grasp why they used these three classifications to differentiate genders.

From the adjutant, Gu Sijiu learned that Alphas were equivalent to men in her original world, but within Alphas, there were both females and males. Female Alphas had reproductive organs similar to males, developing from the cl.itoris, known as the primary se.xual organ. Alphas possessed powerful physical qualities, excelling in various aspects of physical fitness, being the main force of the empire, a tremendously potent presence. They could mark multiple Omegas and impregnate both Omegas and Betas.

Omegas, on the other hand, were equivalent to women, with males also present among them. They were few in number, physically fragile, but with reproductive capabilities. They could only be marked by one Alpha, and once marked, their bodies would forever be loyal to that Alpha, developing both psychological and physiological needs—dependency and se.xual desire.

Betas were the most populous group. They could neither mark Omegas nor be marked by Alphas, and their rates of pregnancy and conception were very low. Their pheromones were generally mild and lacked strong aggression or allure, and they could be found in various professions.

After chatting with the adjutant for a while, Gu Sijiu gradually understood how this world functioned. She asked the adjutant to bring a mirror, and upon seeing her familiar face in the reflection, she breathed a sigh of relief. This was indeed her own face, even though the hair color and some small details were different, it was the face she had looked at for 28 years. Apart from the change in hair color and bust size from C to A, there weren't many other significant differences.

"Major General, we have already informed the General and his wife about your accident. They will cut short their trip and return immediately to see you. Also, here are some recent work reports that you need to review urgently." the adjutant said. Although unsure why the Major General was asking so many random questions today, the adjutant patiently answered them. Gu Sijiu took the reports from the adjutant but looked bewildered. She didn't understand the professional jargon - terms like energy sources, armored machines - each word made sense separately, but together they seemed like a foreign language to her.

To avoid raising any suspicion, Gu Sijiu let out a soft hum, covering her head with one hand while using the other to support her waist as she lay down, claiming she was tired and needed to rest. Watching her, the adjutant was slightly surprised. She felt that the Major General seemed to have become... quite alluring after waking up from the accident? Perhaps using such terms for an Alpha wasn't appropriate, but the adjutant couldn't help but think the General resembled those languid Omega ladies. Especially the way she lay down just now—it was simply alluring. The adjutant felt it was quite inappropriate to think this way and quickly shook her head to dispel the thought.

Once things quieted down, Gu Sijiu noticed that some unfamiliar memories began to surface in her mind. She guessed that these memories belonged to the original owner of this body. The memories were scarce and fragmented, with the most frequent appearance being the woman with a grim expression she had seen in the hospital.

Her name was Song Jinzhi, and she was the fiancée of the original owner of this body...

Fiancée???
