Although spending the heat period together didn't work out, Evie still found Gu Sijiu much more interesting than before. The two sat and chatted casually, and surprisingly, they ended up having a great time. Evie's friends, recognizing Gu Sijiu as her guest of honor for the evening, wisely found their own entertainment and didn't interrupt.
"I think you're quite special, a bit different from most Alphas, there's a kind of... indescribable feeling." Evie said, swirling her drink. She had intended to use the word "flirty," but changed her mind at the last moment. Gu Sijiu could vaguely guess what she wanted to say, raising an eyebrow as she gave her a look that said 'you're not bad yourself.' As Gu Sijiu thought about what Evie had just mentioned regarding the heat period, she suddenly became curious about what it was really like. Was it comfortable or uncomfortable? Was it truly unavoidable?
"Evie, what exactly does an Omega's heat feel like?" Gu Sijiu asked, showing genuine interest, even unconsciously licking her lips at the end. Evie watched her pink tongue peek out and then retreat, finding it quite cute. She started to regret that Gu Sijiu wasn't a Beta, she actually found her quite interesting.
"Darling, as an Alpha, haven't you spent your heat period with your fiancée?" Evie looked at Gu Sijiu in disbelief. After all, she looked like someone who wouldn't shy away from such experiences. Hearing Evie's question, Gu Sijiu imagined herself entangled with Song Jinzhi, and suddenly the image of Song Jinzhi's wooden face popped into her mind, making her quickly shake her head.
"Of course I have. I'm just curious about what an Omega's heat feels like. You know, our Alpha heat periods are quite rare." Gu Sijiu said seriously. Listening to her, Evie recalled some rather explicit images, for her, an Omega's heat was not difficult to endure but rather enjoyable. She never suppressed herself with inhibitors, whenever she felt the urge, she would find a Beta to spend her heat period with, and that experience was always delightful.
"Omega's heat comes once a month and generally lasts about three days. If they have a strong libi.do, it could last four or five days. During their heat, Omegas crave Alpha's touch and may even lose their rationality due to the heat. Even with inhibitors, they will feel very weak for a while, and the best solution is to find a Beta or Alpha to help relieve the urges."
Evie spoke softly, then lazily leaned against Gu Sijiu's chest. Gu Sijiu pondered her words, finding it hard to imagine Song Jinzhi losing control. She imagined Song Jinzhi with her wooden face telling her she was in heat and needed her touch, causing Gu Sijiu to shudder. She felt like she must have some psychological shadow from Song Jinzhi, otherwise, why would she immediately think of her when Omega was mentioned?
"Miss Gu, your scent really smells delicious. What a shame, I rarely sleep with Alphas, but we can be friends." Evie said, giving Gu Sijiu's shoulder a light pat before standing up to leave. Watching her go, Gu Sijiu had no intention of continuing to drink alone. She got into her car, switched to autopilot, and decided to take a drive before heading back.
In the afternoon, Song Jinzhi discovered that Gu Sijiu wasn't at home. Although the house wasn't small, the absence of one person made the silence quite noticeable. She knew the housekeeper wouldn't know where Gu Sijiu had gone, and she didn't have Gu Sijiu's contact information. Even if she did, she wouldn't reach out. Since Gu Sijiu was gone, she felt a sense of relief.
That evening, Song Jinzhi enjoyed a dinner prepared by the housekeeper and comfortably sat in the living room watching financial news. She thought Gu Sijiu would return very late or perhaps not at all, considering her past behavior. But Song Jinzhi didn't expect the current Gu Sijiu to be so unpredictable.
When the front door swung open, Song Jinzhi looked up at the unexpected arrival, and for a moment, she froze, forgetting her intention to head back to her room. She had known Gu Sijiu for quite some time, having met her during college five years ago. Gu Sijiu typically dressed like most Alphas in the military, favoring military uniforms and pants, and she usually emphasized a more rugged look with her makeup. The person standing at the door now gave Song Jinzhi the impression of "who are you?"
Gu Sijiu had swapped her usual military boots for a royal blue dress, which was quite short, barely covering her knees and revealing her long, straight legs. She had also styled her hair, adding a few gentle curls to the ends, making her look playful and sexy. Her makeup had changed as well, she no longer wore dark colors but maintained her fair complexion. The light pink eyeshadow complemented her hair color. If it weren't for the unmistakable scent of Alpha pheromones, one might even mistake her for an Omega based on her appearance alone.
Song Jinzhi couldn't understand what kind of madness Gu Sijiu was up to, and the shock effect was far stronger than on previous occasions. She looked at Gu Sijiu with a hint of wariness. Sensing her gaze, Gu Sijiu felt pleased. She knew that compared to her previous dull and traditional masculine looks, her current appearance was more charming. With such a beautiful version of herself, Song Jinzhi probably wouldn't keep her cold facade up, right?
"Wooden face, good evening." Gu Sijiu kicked off her high heels and walked over with a bright smile. She deliberately drew out the last syllable, trying to create a mesmerizing effect. Seeing her lively stride, Song Jinzhi instinctively shifted further away on the sofa, but Gu Sijiu didn't pick up on her discomfort and plopped down right next to her.
"Do you need something?" Song Jinzhi responded calmly, now eager to retreat back to her room and away from this strange Alpha beside her.
"Nothing much, how do I look now? Don't I look better than before?" Gu Sijiu said cheerfully, her mood clearly lifted. No woman dislikes beauty, and there's no woman who doesn't enjoy compliments. Being praised by a beautiful woman feels much more rewarding than by a man.
Gu Sijiu's eyes sparkled as she looked at Song Jinzhi, waiting for her to compliment herself. This expression reminded Song Jinzhi of Han Han she had raised at the Song family. Han Han, a silly shepherd dog, had the same eager look when she anticipated a treat. However, compared to the dog, Gu Sijiu had a much stronger presence. She smelled of alcohol, but it wasn't from drinking, rather, it was from her close contact with other Omegas, picking up their pheromones.
Thinking about Gu Sijiu's intimate contact with other Omegas made Song Jinzhi feel uncomfortable. She knew they probably hadn't done anything, yet she couldn't shake the unpleasant feeling. Despite keeping her distance from other Alphas and even exchanging a few words occasionally resulting in Gu Sijiu's sarcastic remarks, this person seemed to have no idea about boundaries.
"I think you'd be better off being a bit more normal."
"Oh, really? I was just asking casually, I don't really care about your answer. I think I look pretty good now. Everyone has different tastes, an Omega like you probably prefers old-fashioned and boring styles."
Gu Sijiu was a bit dissatisfied with Song Jinzhi's response. What did she mean by being better off being a bit more normal? Was she not normal now? When she shot an annoyed glare at Song Jinzhi, her tone and expression clearly indicated she wasn't indifferent as she claimed. Song Jinzhi wondered if Gu Sijiu's recent accident had affected her brain, why else would she behave in such incomprehensible ways?
As Song Jinzhi watched Gu Sijiu unpack the items she had bought, she noticed her flamboyantly painting her nails red. Gu Sijiu's actions further convinced Song Jinzhi that something was off today. Her instincts told her to distance herself quickly, so she stood up to head back to her room. Gu Sijiu didn't notice Song Jinzhi leave, she finished organizing her purchases, removed her makeup, enjoyed a relaxing shower, and changed into the new nightgown she had bought.
The fabric of the dress was excellent, a thin summer chiffon style that gave a cool sensation when worn, much more comfortable than the rigid pajamas and trousers of the previous owner. Gu Sijiu warmed up a glass of milk before bed, walked back upstairs, and coincidentally met Song Jinzhi coming out of her room. Clearly, she was also preparing for bed, wearing the nightgown but with a coat over it. Gu Sijiu's gaze fell on her chest, and she involuntarily furrowed her brows.
"Wooden face, want some milk?" Gu Sijiu asked casually, not waiting for Song Jinzhi's reply, swiftly glancing at her chest before moving away. "I guess you don't need any. what's the point of having such a large bre.ast? Women shouldn't have overly large bre.ast, it makes them look fat and lacks elegance." Gu Sijiu said this with a hint of envy, the sourness almost spilling from her lips. Seeing her cut the conversation short and return to her room, Song Jinzhi lowered her head to look at her bre.ast, furrowing her brows and then slowly relaxing.
After returning to her room, Gu Sijiu irritably set the milk on the table, lifted her nightgown, and looked at her small bre.ast. Unable to resist, she reached out to touch it. Well... even though it was small, it felt great—soft, bouncy, and perky, with a fresh rosy color at the tips. As she thought about this, an image of Song Jinzhi's bre.ast flashed in her mind, and she let her hand drop weakly, letting her nightgown cover her little hill, silently drinking her milk.
