"Mm... this feels so good." Gu Sijiu squinted her eyes as she leaned back in the massage chair, unable to suppress a sigh of comfort. She kicked off her slippers, her fair little feet tensing up before slowly relaxing and swaying them. It was 9 AM, and while most people were busy with work, Gu Sijiu, being carefree, was lying in the massage chair enjoying herself.

Song Jinzhi listened to her occasional hums, feeling a bit speechless as she lowered her head to sip her coffee. Just as she hadn't even swallowed a sip, Gu Sijiu raise her voice again. Although it wasn't to the point of being considered inappropriate, it was still somewhat annoying. Song Jinzhi looked at her with a desire to speak but stopped herself, choosing to swallow her dissatisfaction.

The two had been coexisting peacefully for quite a while now, ever since Gu Sijiu was discharged from the hospital. They had been leading separate lives without interfering with each other. Even when she went to work at the company, she no longer caused trouble as she used to. Song Jinzhi felt that if Gu Sijiu continued like this, their relationship would be a bit easier. Their relationship during this time could hardly be called harmonious, but it was manageable.

After enjoying the massage, Gu Sijiu lazily got up from the chair. She felt soft all over, almost as if she could twist her waist while walking. When she lay sideways on the sofa, raising an eyebrow to look at Song Jinzhi, the latter surprisingly sensed a certain charm in that gaze. This made Song Jinzhi extremely uncomfortable, after all, Gu Sijiu was an Alpha—what kind of nonsense was it to be charming so early in the morning?

"Yeah, do you need something?"

"Nothing much, I just heard that a new cake shop opened near your company, and it seems pretty famous. Could you buy one for me on your way back?"

Gu Sijiu tapped on her holographic wristwatch, and a projection appeared in front of them. It was a food app called "Foodie's Delight," which Gu Sijiu liked to use to find new and interesting foods. The newly opened dessert shop was something she wanted to try, conveniently located near Song's group. Song Jinzhi glanced at it and saw that there was a queue, instantly losing interest in the hassle. "I have to go to work, I probably don't have time to wait in line." After saying this, Song Jinzhi ignored Gu Sijiu's disappointed look, put on her high heels, and left.

Seeing herself being so ruthlessly rejected, Gu Sijiu kicked her legs on the sofa, feeling it was pointless. She opened her contacts and found that most of them were people added by the original owner, some of whom she recognized, but most she had no recollection of.

To avoid being discovered as not the original owner, Gu Sijiu naturally wouldn't contact those people added by the original owner. After browsing through the list, she realized the only friend she could chat with was Evie. Gu Sijiu found Evie and asked if she wanted to go to a bar in the evening. The reply came quickly, with no words, just a playful finger-hook emoji —perfectly fitting Evie's style.

Gu Sijiu stayed at home until evening and then dressed up before heading to the bar she often visited with Evie. Although it wasn't the peak time yet, there were already quite a few people in the bar. Gu Sijiu sat at the bar, and the server instinctively placed her favorite drink in front of her.

"Wow, I haven't seen you for a week, and you look even younger! Gu Sijiu, can you stop with the skincare? You're an Alpha." As soon as they met, Evie couldn't help but reach over, pinching Gu Sijiu's face. Gu Sijiu swatted her hand away and took out a small mirror to check her makeup, putting it away only after confirming everything was fine.

"Who says Alphas can't do skincare? Besides, with a face as beautiful as mine, isn't it a waste not to maintain it a bit longer?" Gu Sijiu flipped her hair and then looked up at Evie. She noticed a strange scent coming from Evie, as if she had deliberately sprayed something to cover it up, and there were faint red marks on her neck.

"Hey, did you just... do something? The scent on you is so strong." Gu Sijiu whispered, leaning in closer to smell it clearly, and took a few sniffs near Evie. Seeing Evie half-closing her eyes, smiling, and leaning in this way, her whole body pressed against her chest. Evie thought Gu Sijiu, this clueless person, completely lacked the self-awareness of being an Alpha. Didn't she know that an Omega with slightly weaker self-control could easily develop feelings when teased like this?

"Can you even smell that? I think you were trained as a hunting dog in the military camp!" Evie pushed Gu Sijiu back a bit.

"I just didn't want to interrupt your good time. After all, you Omegas, don't you need to be satisfied for several days?"

"I'm not in heat right now, it's just a physical need. Wait, what did you mean by that question? Do you only have se.x when you're in heat? Don't you do it normally?" Evie snapped back to reality, curious about Gu Sijiu's earlier remark, her gaze drifting down to Gu Sijiu's legs.

Evie rarely engaged with Alphas, but she also knew that most Alphas are highly se.xually active in the mornings, just like Omegas at night, needing caresses and desiring intimacy. But thinking back to how Gu Sijiu had called her early in the morning today, it was clear she hadn't had any "special activities."

"What are you... can you not be so nosy? Hey, want to go dance?" Gu Sijiu felt Evie's scrutiny and a chill ran down her lower body. She hated this topic and had no intention of continuing it, so she deliberately changed the subject. Pulling Evie's hand, she headed to the dance floor, moving her body to the music. Gu Sijiu had often gone to bars in her previous life, but she rarely danced in crowded places because of her cleanliness obsession, she didn't want strangers brushing against her.

But now there were few people, just a few scattered individuals on the dance floor. With Evie by her side, Gu Sijiu wasn't worried about being approached by anyone. The dance floor became livelier with Evie and Gu Sijiu's presence, and the music shifted from slightly upbeat to sensual and ambiguous. Gu Sijiu flipped her long hair and lost herself in the movements on the dance floor.

At first, Evie was dancing on her own, but later, seeing Gu Sijiu's moves, she seemed frozen in place, watching her. Gu Sijiu looked extremely sexy at this moment, smiling towards Evie, every move exuding a captivating allure. When she tilted her neck, her hand sliding over the glands on the back of her neck, and her short dress revealed her fair, slim thighs, she moved like a snake, her body swaying enticingly.

Evie excitedly whistled, noticing that many people were also watching Gu Sijiu. Gradually, the crowd grew, and to avoid bumping into strangers, Gu Sijiu began to slow down. After dancing and sweating a bit, her bangs slightly damp, she tossed her hair back and walked back to the bar counter with a smile. Evie noticed that several Omegas had their eyes on Gu Sijiu, eager to make a move.

"Hi, miss, may I have the honor of buying you a drink?" Sure enough, as soon as Gu Sijiu sat down, a young male Omega approached her. He looked young and was the type Gu Sijiu wouldn't consider.

"Sorry, I already have a partner." Gu Sijiu replied with a smile, pointing to Evie behind her. Evie quickly caught on, playfully wrapping her arms around Gu Sijiu to assert her claim. The young man wasn't offended by the blatant rejection, he just smiled and nodded. However, before leaving, he unexpectedly hugged Gu Sijiu and even planted a kiss on her gland with his lips.

"Thank you, miss, you smell so good, I just wanted to hug you." The young man said, as if he had succeeded in some scheme, quickly retreating. Gu Sijiu felt extremely uncomfortable, especially with her cleanliness obsession being violated by a stranger's sudden embrace and kiss on her neck. She had lost all desire to continue drinking and just wanted to hurry home to take a shower.

In her haste to leave, she didn't notice that the series of actions had been secretly recorded. The person who captured the entire process stretched out the holographic image, deleting the earlier parts and leaving only the scene of Gu Sijiu hugging the male Omega before leaving the bar with a smile.

Song Jinzhi thought she could leave work at the usual time, but an unexpected meeting delayed her until the evening. She glanced at the pastries set aside and, feeling a bit helpless, picked up the box to head out. This was indeed the cake shop Gu Sijiu had mentioned, and as she had said, there was a long line. In the afternoon, Song Jinzhi had asked Jennifer to buy some, and that person had also waited nearly two hours to get a box.

Song Jinzhi didn't think she bought it for Gu Sijiu, she just wanted to try out the new cake shop's skills, which is why she sent Jennifer. Activating the self-driving feature, she rested in the car. At that moment, her father suddenly called, asking her to come home. Glancing at the time, Song Jinzhi was puzzled as to why her father was in such a hurry but changed her destination anyway.

As the car headed toward the Song family home, she arrived to find her parents with dark expressions. Confused, she approached and was met with a projected image showing Gu Sijiu embracing a male Omega.
